I got my first radio show on DejaVu FM 3 years ago and I’m still there!

8. What’s the biggest difference between radio and live sets?
No distractions with radio, no stress getting paid and no-one asking for The Jackson 5 whilst you’re playing Spin spin sugar…

One of the pioneers of the Uk Funky scene, Marcus Nasty has been at the forefront of London’s musical underground for over ten years. He first gained notoriety for starting arguably the most influential grime collective of all time N.A.S.T.Y crew, which helped kick start the careers of artists such as Kano, Jammer, D Double E and Terror Danjah to name but a few. After N.A.S.T.Y crew split up, Marcus began exploring different tempos in his DJ sets and finally settled on playing the emerging Uk Funky sound which he is now so celebrated for. For the last four years Marcus has been smashing up the airwaves on Rinse.Fm with his phenomenal mixing skills and unrivalled tune selection. What Marcus plays is exactly what Tumble is all about, energetic, pumping, skanking party music. We are very very execited to welcome him to Tumble and look forward to him bringing the rave the only way he knows how.
